Laser VIN marking

What is VIN marking?
VIN stands for “Vehicle Identification Number” and is used in the automotive industry to identify individual cars, motorcycles, etc. The number can be marked onto the vehicle itself using a laser marking machine. This process is then called VIN marking.

The VIN Marker is perfect for industrial use thanks to its robust housing and IP 54 protection class, suitable for harsh environments, and remains one of the most compact integrated lasers on the market.

The use of contactless laser technology means that the VIN Marker can be used to seamlessly engrave hard metals such as titanium, hardened steel, cast aluminum, and other painted or unpainted materials. This provides flexibility in your choice of materials.
Complete safety documentation and fieldbus interfaces such as Profinet support integration of industrial robots, manipulators, and balancers into new or existing production lines.

Depending on the project application, the VIN marking machine engraves a complete vehicle identification number (VIN) consisting of 17 characters + 2 special characters in just 15 seconds, and is also cheaper than many other systems.

The SafetyCone module provides the highest level of laser safety (Class 1). It effectively removes particles and smoke simultaneously. Therefore, you don’t need a protective enclosure or control cabinet, saving you space and money! The fiber optic cable is configured as a “safety fiber,” so in the event of a cable break, the system immediately performs an emergency shutdown, thus preventing stray radiation.
